We also encourage only the RATIONAL & RESPECTABLE to stay with us, the irrational should look elsewhere.
Examples of irrational behaviour/requests/complaints are
complaining that an outside walkway, after four days of rain 'is more than two days' wet', - with the best will in the world, we are unable to stop the rain from falling,
complaining that there are 'men in the bar and garden drinking beer', this is an inn where we thrive on men drinking beer.
complaining in early March 2010 after the worst winter in living memory, that the garden has no flowers!
complaining that there is 'noise from the skittle alley', the skittle alley has been there for over 300 years and our skittle teams, comprising of friendly local men with an age range of 18 to 85, play tenaciously with wooden balls and wooden pins. This is usually on Wednesday and Friday evenings and stops before 12.00 midnight. Men playing with balls are always noisy!!
and last but not least we do not want a revisit from Cinderella'a sisters, their friends , fellow escapees from a men's bail hostel or anyone similar who thought that by breaking an electric wall socket they could extract a refund on their room charge.
We do not provide rooms on an hourly basis.
LADIES OF THE NIGHT OR ENTHUSIASTIC AMATEURS; THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU
We deal with valid guest concerns with speed and efficiency and are always grateful for feedback which could assist us to improve the service we provide to our valued customers. However anyone who behaves irrationally will get very short shrift from us. We also have a sense of humour.
If you think this might not suit you, don't book a room with us.
